Understanding Ketosis

Are you struggling to get into ketosis and reap the healing benefits of a ketogenic lifestyle? Ketosis is a metabolic state, a chemistry shift, not dirty diet. A chemistry shift in which your body utilizes ketones as its primary source of energy, ketones which are made from the breakdown fats in the liver. Achieving and maintaining ketosis can be challenging, especially in the early stages or if you have major metabolic damage. In this blog post, I will share my top three biohacks that have helped me on my journey to ketosis, and I am sure will help you as well. Keeping a well-stocked Keto Toolbox is vital to help you through struggles of ketosis and will help you succeed at rebuilding health. The deeper the metabolic damage in your body, the harder it is to stay in ketosis, and head off the "Keto Flu."

This is the next tool in my personal toolbox and the one I recommend to my clients for the next level of defense.  Dr. Boz MCT C8:C10 capsules have been a game-changer in my journey toward ketosis. MCT stands for Medium-Chain Triglycerides, which are a type of healthy fat found in coconut oil. Very few MCT oils have C8 and C10.  This combination helps with ketones and brain health. 

Not all MCTs are the same.

Many other MCT's only have one or the other, or even have a cheaper filler oil in them.Dr. Boz MCT Capsules Some of us have a hard time getting our bodies to make ketones, which are the primary fuel in ketosis.  When we need extra help, I turn to these MCTs that are quickly absorbed by the body and can be converted into ketones, providing a readily available source of energy.
