Thursdays are long days for us—early starts, late finishes, and back-to-back commitments. With our free live support group happening tonight at 7pm Eastern, today is packed, but we love every bit of this journey.
Even in the busiest seasons, I’m reminded that my health and faith still need attention. I can’t afford to let my well-being take a back seat just because the calendar is full. So today, I’m focusing on health stacking—finding small, intentional ways to prioritize my body, mind, and spirit despite the tight schedule.
This season may be full, but it’s also blessed. And that’s exactly why I’m making space for the things that matter most.
1️⃣ Feeding My Soul First
Before I even started tackling my to-do list, I set the tone for my day with worship. Music is powerful—it shifts my focus from stress to surrender. Today, my choice was Brandon Lake’s new song, “Heartfelt Hallelujah” 🎶.
This song is a reminder to lean on Him—especially when we feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or uncertain. When we don’t quite feel it, that’s when we need to raise our hands even higher. This song has been on repeat all morning, keeping my heart aligned and my mind at peace.
👉 I’m sharing the video with you so you can be blessed by it too!

2️⃣ Checking My Chemistry
No matter how busy the day gets, I still check my blood glucose and ketones. My numbers aren’t quite where I want them, but they are improving, and that’s worth celebrating.
📊 Today’s Readings:
- BG: 111
- BK: 0.7
- DBR: 158
- I am supplementing with some MCT C:8 & C:10 (Stimulating that liver to produce ketones)
- I started my morning with my favorite ketones, Dr. Boz’s Pucker Up. (these have no flavor or sweetener, but will help me begin to make ketones on my own.)
Still high, but heading in the right direction. This is why tracking matters—it helps me see progress, even when it’s slow.

3️⃣ Prioritizing a Tight Eating Window
To support my metabolic health, I’m keeping my eating window short today, closing it by 1 PM.
🍽 Today’s Meal:
🥓 Pork belly
🍳 2 dippy eggs
🥥 Coconut oil in my tea
☕ Cold brew with cream (within my eating window)
Keeping it simple, nutrient-dense, and intentional.

4️⃣ Moving in the Gaps – 10 Squats Every 2 Hours
With all the desk work today, I need to move more. So I’m adding a one of my old habits: 10 squats every two hours. 🚶♀️ I am starting low and working my way up to more reps. I know it is not much, but it is a start and something I can achieve.
Here’s how I’m making it happen:
💡 Setting a timer for every 2 hours
💡 Doing 10 squats before I sit back down
💡 Using bathroom breaks as a movement cue to do squats
This is how I remind myself that even small efforts add up.
👉 What’s one small habit you could add to your day?
5️⃣ Preparing for the Sardine Challenge 🐟
I can already feel my ketones rising and energy improving—just in time for this weekend’s Sardine Challenge! I love watching the impact these little fishies have on my numbers.
Stay tuned! I’ll be tracking and sharing my results—so watch and see what happens. You can read the rules of this challenge and join us. “Choose Your Hard“. Knowing we can collectively do hard things, we can do this as a tribe. 🐟🔥
A Final Reminder: Keep Moving Forward
Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV) reminds us:
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
Even in a busy season, every small act of care—whether it’s a song of worship, mindful eating, movement, or community—is a way to honor God with our bodies and lives.
💬 What are YOU stacking into your day to prioritize your health and faith?
💬 Have you tried movement snacks like my squat challenge?

Am trying to start every morning with what I am thankful for
Incorporating some meditation
Lifting weights consistently, running sprints, jumping rope, high jumps, move more
Song that lifts my spirit is, well I have two, “In the Sweet By and By” and I can only Imagine”
What a way to start the day. Two beautiful songs too!! ❤️🙏 you are an inspiration.
You are such a beautiful soul! You have been through it but always remember God brought you through and He will continue to bring you through until the work is complete. One day at a time sweet Jesus, One day at a time. 🙂 Now I am going to get up and do some squats lol lol…
Diana, that is so true. I have survived a 100% of the really rough things I’ve been through. He has been with me every step. Thank you for that reminder. Now….Get those squats in. (I made it to 40 squats yesterday, so I am aiming for more today). We got this my friend. ❤️ Tammie
