Hello, my name is Lance Laubacher.  I am honored to share my journey as the Godly leader of our family and tribe, walking alongside my incredible wife, Tammie, as we navigate the ketogenic lifestyle together. This role is both humbling and empowering, as it calls me to lead by faith, example, and unwavering support, even when facing my own struggles. We walk this Journey to Healing hand in hand following God’s leadership.

Walking the Healing Journey Together

In our home, healing isn’t just about food choices or a number on the scale; it’s about reclaiming the health and vitality God designed us to have. It’s about working though the struggles both physically and mentally together. I’ve seen firsthand how the ketogenic lifestyle transformed Tammie’s life, not only by improving physical health but by building mental clarity, energy, and emotional resilience. Together, Tammie and I lead our tribe with the belief that we are all on this Journey to Healing—each at our own pace but united in purpose and plan.

Leading means showing up every day, not as someone who has it all figured out, but as someone committed to growing, learning, and leaning into God’s grace and healing. I’ve had my fair share of struggles and still do—breaking old habits like snacking, controlling cravings, and letting go of stress foods that once ruled my life. But in every moment of weakness and struggle, I’ve found strength in God’s promise that His grace is sufficient for me.

Supporting Tammie and Our Tribe as a Godly Leader

One of the greatest privileges in my life is supporting Tammie. Her strength, determination, and unwavering passion for helping others inspire me daily. Together, we’ve built a community—a tribe of people committed to walking out their healing journeys. You can join our tribe for free, Healthy Families Begin at Home. This tribe isn’t just a group; it’s a family where we celebrate wins, share struggles, and lift each other up in prayer and encouragement. I am so blessed to be a part of what we’ve built together out of love and kindness for everyone on this journey.

When someone in our tribe feels like giving up, I remind them that they’re not alone. I’m walking this path, too. It’s about direction, not perfection. I know what it feels like to wrestle with old habits and to hear that inner voice urging you to quit. But I also know the joy and freedom that come when you choose to keep going, leaning on God’s strength and grace every step of the way.

Leading with Faith and Determination

As the Godly leader of our family and tribe, I strive to reflect God’s love in my actions and words. Whether it’s sharing a meal, guiding a discussion, or simply listening to someone’s struggles, my goal is to uplift and inspire others to keep moving forward. I remind our tribe that healing is a journey, not a destination, and that every step—even the small ones—matters. Direction over perfection, one step at a time.

God calls us to honor Him with our bodies, treating them as temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). For me, this means staying disciplined, breaking free from the habits that once held me back, and embracing the freedom that comes with living in alignment with His design. It’s never easy, but it’s always worth it.

A Challenge to Fellow Godly Leaders

To all the men out there who are reading this: I challenge you to step into your role as the Godly leader of your family. Your leadership can set the tone for your household and your life—not through perfection, but through direction, commitment, faith, and love. You don’t have to be an expert or have all the answers. You just have to show up, trust God, and lead by example with love, patience, and grace just like Him. This is what will build generational health in your spiritual journey as well as your heath journey.

Together, we can build strong, healthy families who honor God in every aspect of life—mind, body, spirit and home. Let’s take this Journey to Healing one step at a time, knowing that we’re stronger together and that God’s grace is with us every step of the way, even when we fall.

With love, grace and determination,

Lance
