Hello, Tribe!
Today is Sunday, and it’s been a day filled with family and celebration. We celebrated Lance’s birthday—he just turned 54—and his dad’s 85th! Lance’s dad is an inspiration, living proof that age is just a number. At 85, he’s still a strong, vibrant, and outworking men half his age. I can’t wait to share more of his amazing journey with you soon—it’s a story worth telling.
Today is also the final day of preparation before we kick off the 21-Day Metabolic Kickstart (21DMK) bright and early tomorrow morning with Dr. Boz. This reset is always an exciting time, and with 200 students joining us, it’s going to be incredible. Each case study Dr. Boz teaches brings a wealth of knowledge and insight, advancing our understanding of how this process can transform lives.
Seeing these transformations unfold is truly inspiring and reminds me of why I do this work.
This week has been an emotional rollercoaster, and today was no exception. Along with celebrating milestones and preparing for the week ahead, Lance and I had the emotional blessing of helping my sister-in-law sort through and move some of my brother’s most prized possessions. We still have not fully adjusted to him being gone, but it’s amazing how many emotions are connected to the belongings of someone you love—the things they cherished, the memories they carry. It was a task that needed to be done, but it was not easy. Moments like these remind me just how fragile life can be and how quickly everything can change. Please keep my family in your prayers as we work through this tough stage of life.
We missed church today, which we don’t like to do because it’s so important to feed our spirits. But I started the day with prayer and some powerful worship music to set my heart and mind in the right place. It’s amazing how a few moments of connection with God can refocus and recharge me for whatever the day brings.
If you’re part of our group coaching membership, get ready—we’re stepping it up this month! And if you’re joining us in the 21DMK, I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow morning with Dr. Boz. Let’s dive in together and make this a powerful start to 2025!
Update on Momma
This week has been an emotional one. Lance and my dad were able to help transfer my mom from the hospital back to her nursing care facility, where she’s now resting comfortably. Daddy is doing his best to adjust to this new normal, but I know going home alone every night has to be one of the hardest things he’s ever had to do. His love and devotion to Mom are a beautiful example of God’s love, even in the hardest moments. Thank you all for your love, texts, calls, and prayers during this time. God’s grace and timing are getting us through.
Today’s Menu:
- Meat
- Fat
- Coffee/Tea with Heavy Cream
I started my day a little out of routine, diving into prep work early and forgetting to take my morning numbers until after I’d already had tea and cream. So, I’ll start fresh tomorrow and be back on track.
Thank you for walking this journey with me, tribe. Let’s prepare our hearts, minds, and bodies for the exciting days ahead. Here’s to transformation, healing, and God’s grace carrying us through every step.
With love,
Tammie 💕
